Blocklabs is a company that provides blockchain services for all business areas that require transparency, anonymity, independence, security and efficiency. One of the most popular applications of this technology are cryptocurrencies, also supported by our client.
From the very beginning, our client had a set of inspirations prepared for us, which we could freely juggle. Both Blocklabs and workshop91 share a common love of 8-bit graphics and a fascination with NFT collections. We also very quickly agreed that animations would be extremely important for this project, as they can convey a large amount of information in an accessible and quick way. And they look cool.
The main goal for our client was to stand out on the market and use modern, intriguing solutions to reflect their business. The biggest challenge for our team was the actual transfer both blockchain technology descriptions and Blocklabs services into visual language.
Just as Blocklabs' graphic inspiration was one hundred percent clear to us, the technology itself required in-depth analysis and understanding. Only with the right knowledge we could present it graphically in a clear and simple way.
Due to the complicated nature of blockchain technology, we decided to create illustrations at three different levels of complexity. From very simple ones to those more elaborated, dividing them also into flat and spatial designs. Our goal was to convey knowledge in an easy, but not overly superficial way.
Just as every technology has its specific way of coding and conveying information, we decided to create the very own visual code for Blocklabs. This way, also after our cooperation ends, the client has a package of assets that he can easily use, without the danger of disrupting the visual identity.
We came up with an unconventional way to represent the blockchain through geometric forms. We used them not only in the logo itself, but also in the entire key visual and in the animations.
With our client we share a passion for our work. The commitment and genuine interest of both parties allows for an extraordinary exchange of energy that is both inspiring and liberating.
