Design always starts with a thought. Whether our medium is a sheet of paper, a digital file, or a physical object, the process is often the same. For this project, we were asked by Mana Studio to graphically represent their interior design projects, so that all the visual elements representing the studio were interconnected.

About the client

Mana Design, a studio created by Marta Napiórkowska, is known for its extremely tasteful and well-thought-out interior design projects for both private apartments & homes and headquarters and stores of brands. The studio's projects have been featured in magazines such as Vogue Poland, Design Alive, and Label Magazine.

Time for an update

The biggest problem our client had was that the old mark simply no longer represented the brand properly. It was out of trend, and there were also issues with its legibility. The studio owner felt a change was necessary, and her main goal was to align the logo with her projects.

The perfect balance

Together with Mana Studio, we defined the requirements that the new logo had to meet. Above all, it was to be simple, so that it would be easy to remember and sufficiently characteristic, while at the same time not competing with the studio's projects themselves.

For our client, this was a personal project; it had to align with her style, her sense of aesthetics, and what visually appeals to her. Our guiding principles were modernity, universality, and openess.

Simple, yet with character

The principles we adopted perfectly match the realizations of Mana Studio. It was among their projects that we looked for inspiration for the shapes, colors, and character of the new sign. When our guiding principle is simplicity, we pay a lot of attention not to stray into boredom. That's why we chose a characteristic line often used by our client, the diagonal.

Thanks to the use of this direction, the mark has gained timelessness, class, and openness to possible future changes and development. The color scheme we chose also refers to the mood of the interiors created by the studio, making the pairing of both elements easy to perform and very aesthetic on social media. Additionally, it was designed as an open resource, which can also change along with new trends and ideas from Mana Studio.

About the result for the client

We increasingly find that a good design is a simple design, and its core should be the fulfillment of the objectives set together with the client. This was indeed the case in our cooperation with Mana Design, which resulted in a very well-balanced sign, perfectly in tune with the character of the entire brand.
